We’re really sad to announce we’ve had to cancel several of our August festival appearances due to some personal matters that mean we’re no longer able to make any of the dates.
Please accept our hearfelt apologies and please know that if it were possible for us to be there then we would. Cancelling shows is not a decision we ever take lightly. We appreciate your patience and understanding.

We’re very sorry but we have had to pull out of tonight’s performance at the Regency Ballroom in San Francisco.We are absolutely mortified to have to let you all down but Thomas is unable to sing tonight due to the effects of a viral illness he’s contracted.

We’re extremely concerned about those of you that bought advance tickets and we will find a way to make sure you can either be refunded or have them swapped out for our next SF date (in September TBC). Please contact your point of purchase for details. Again, we’re very sorry but there is no way for Thomas to do the show and we’d like to thank you in advance for your understanding.

The nice people at MTV2 in the British Isles have elected to make the video for “1901″ one of their “Hot New Ones”. It turns out you can vote for the video and help get it to the top of their My Space Charts. This in turn will have the knock on effect of seeing Phoenix finally conquer the British airwaves (something I think we’d all be happy about).

We are proud to be able to inform you we have just confirmed a concert at Los Angeles legendary Greek Theatre on September 16th!

We’re also very lucky to be able to report that METRIC have agreed to be our special guests on the night and we will also have California’s own The Softpack opening the show.

We’ve been added to the line-up for Latitude Festival in the UK. We have a wonderful slot on Sunday 19th July playing on the main stage before Editors and Nick Cave.

We’re incredibly happy to be able to give you a heads up that we’re playing a second show in New York City at Central Park Summerstage. It’s going to take place on 26th September and the fantastic Passion Pit will be our special guests.
